Following the pasta/bread discussion yesterday in class, I decided to look for the “types of pasta” posters online. They used to be common in italian restaurants and houses; and apparently pasta is so decorative that even Marian Bantjes’ new book has a whole pasta section. Here are a couple of posters:

Bread types at my local grocery store. A first row of bagels, followed by two rows of bread that is a variation of a basic oval shape. TK — do they all taste the same?
